IB Rebate Structures That Actually Scale (With Examples)

Ninety percent of new brokers launch with a single flat rebate — say $6 per lot — and wonder six months later why their best IB stopped growing. The answer is almost always the structure, not the number.

§The four structures that work

Flat: simple but caps growth. Tiered: rebate rises as monthly volume rises (e.g. $6 up to 500 lots, $8 to 2000, $10 beyond). Hybrid: CPA on first deposit plus lifetime rebate. Sub-IB: your IB earns a slice from IBs they recruit — this is what turns a partner into a channel.

§Design principles

Reward volume, not just referrals. Pay on schedule (weekly beats monthly for retention). Show the IB their live pipeline in a dashboard — opacity kills trust. And never cap the top tier; the top 5% of IBs will produce 60% of your volume.

FXCRM ships all four structures out of the box, plus a visual tree builder so your ops team can model changes before pushing them live.
